Signs You Need to Balance Pitta

Physical Symptoms:

  • Is your skin more sensitive than usual, breaking out or feeling inflamed?
  • Is your hair falling out more frequently, or are you experiencing premature balding?
  • Do you suffer from heartburn or excess stomach acid?
  • Do you often feel hot, even indoors, and are constantly thirsty?
  • Are your eyes red or irritated?

 

Mental and Emotional Symptoms:

  • Are you critical, impatient, or easily irritable?
  • Do you find yourself obsessed with work or projects, unable to take a break?
  • Do you wake up very early and struggle to get back to sleep?
  • Is your tolerance for others lower, and do you have temper outbursts over minor things?
  • Are you quick to argue or use biting, sarcastic language?

  • Are you gaining weight easily, even with a reduced appetite?
  • Do you feel tired even without engaging in physical activity?
  • Is your skin oilier than usual, with frequent breakouts?
  • Does your hair feel oily and streaky despite regular washing?
  • Are you experiencing heaviness or congestion in your throat, head, or chest?
  • Is your digestion slow, leaving you feeling heavy and lethargic after meals?

  • Do you feel withdrawn or find it difficult to cope with change?
  • Do you feel mentally unmotivated, like you just want to sit and observe?
  • Are you struggling with a desire to "cling" or hold onto things emotionally?
  • Do you wake up feeling unrefreshed and tired, even after long hours of sleep?
