  • Anyone taking part in YOURZEN ABC events, retreats, online sessions, 1:1 sessions.

  • Discrimination or bullying

5. Staff Responsibilities

All YOURZEN ABC team members must:

  • Maintain professional boundaries.
  • Report safeguarding risks concerns immediately.
  • Record concerns accurately and confidentially.

 

6. Reporting Concerns

Anyone can report a safeguarding concern. Steps:

  • Ensure immediate safety.
  • Report to the designated safeguarding lead.
  • Document facts only, not assumptions.
  • If someone is in immediate danger, contact emergency services.

7. Responding to Disclosures

When someone shares concerns:

  • Listen calmly and respectfully.
  • Do not promise confidentiality; explain the duty to report.
  • Take notes as soon as practical.

Safeguarding concerns will be shared only with those who need to know. Information is handled in accordance with UK data protection laws.
